Cupid's Last Wish (BL) (T)
As expected from EarthMix, this series was super cute!!! It had a lot of comedy, some drama, and it was not too heavy on the stress. Plus, it had the best scene I have ever watched of a man trapped in a woman's body experiencing a period. Pure gold....
Win's (Mix Sahaphap Wongratch) father dies, leaving shares of their massive dairy farm to Win, his aunt and uncle, and his best friend Korn (Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri). Doubting his motivations for getting close to his family, Win kicks Korn out of his life. One night, Win finds out that his sister Lin (Jan Ployshompoo Supasap) is still talking to Korn and he blows up, taking her for a reckless drive that leads to an accident. The results of the accident are they swap bodies, with Lin in Win's body in a coma and Win in Lin's body waking up to try and fix everything.
A monk sends him on a mission to collect water from 4 different temples before the end of the week, but the kicker is that he needs to have Korn come with him to offset his bad karma. At first, he tries to refuse, but he realizes it is much harder to navigate the world when he is in a woman's body. Men harass him, don't take him seriously, or just want something from him. Eventually, he relents and lets Korn accompany him.
They bond on their trip, with a memorable portion being when Lin's body got her period and Win had no idea what was wrong with him. It felt accurate and it made me crack up laughing.
Throughout everything, Korn remained steadfast beside Win, because he knew him better than anyone. He knows that Win says the opposite of what he means and that he has a sharp tongue. He also knows that he loves Win no matter what. However, Win is under the impression that the one Korn loves is actually his sister.
They manage to fix their little body swap problem, but then they have to fix the problems caused by Win's crazy mom! Omg, she frustrated me so badly when you find out that she started all the issues in the first place and she did it on purpose.
The series was really cute and the chemistry between Earth and Mix was fire, as expected. I look forward to more of their projects together in the future!
