Cheese in the Trap (Series)

 This one I'm conflicted about...

Right off the bat, I will say that I have not read the webtoon that this series is based off of. I have seen the movie that was made, with a altered cast, and that wasn't very satisfying, although it did provide a different ending. 

From my understanding, the series and the webtoon have different endings. 

I will not delve too much into the plot of this one, as it is very complex and it wasn't a show I was crazy about. Basically Poor Girl/Rich Boy, they misunderstand each other, fall in love, but they are from very different worlds and everything is working against them. Very Pride and Prejudice. 

She has great friends at school, but she doesn't open up with them. She feels very alone but she is the one making herself that way. The same goes for the male lead, he is very manipulative and finds his own way of "justice" that is pretty warped. They are pretty much perfect for each other with all their issues. 

Then you have the almost adopted siblings of the rich boy - the spoiled princess who refuses to work and manipulates and exploits those around her for her personal gain - and the "bad boy" who has a heart of gold but will still never manage to win the girl. 

As a college student, this show stressed the fuck out of me. The first time I tried to watch it, I actually had to stop because I was bawling my eyes out over her getting a failing grade on a project when I had my own schoolwork to stress over. There's a lot of drama and stress in this show.

Now. On to something I did really like.
